Dr Kaumudi Dhutia

Dr Dhutia graduated from Newcastle University in 1983 and was one of the first 50 dentists in the UK to take up ongoing training in what’s now known as the Continual Professional Development (CPD) cycle. She has been adding to her skills ever since and takes particular interest in treating nervous patients with painless, minimally invasive dentistry. She also has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics and endodontics, the part of dentistry concerned with correcting problems with tooth roots. She believes affordable dentistry should be available to everyone, and is proud to say that, because of her emphasis on preventing oral health problems, her patients at Starlite Dental Care tend to keep their natural teeth for life. Having been principal dentist for nearly 30 years, she has seen many of her patients grow up and now looks after their children, grandchildren and, in some cases, their great grandchildren.
