Paul qualified from Edinburgh University in 1992 and was in the first cohort of dentists in the UK to graduate from the Royal College of Surgeons of England with the Diploma in Primary Care Orthodontics and is acknowledged as a general Dentist with a Special in Orthodontics and his clinics are limited to orthodontics and Dental Sleep Medicine. He is founder of Snoring SolutionsNI, and with the support of Dr Ram Iyer, consultant Respiratory and Sleep Physicians, provide an awarding pathway of care for patients with sleep disordered breathing (snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea). This clinic also provides Home Sleep Tests and a full range of sleep treatments including provision of CPAP. Paul has recently been elected as the only UK or Irish dentist as a Board Diplomate of the European Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, having achieved their Expert Accreditation. As an innovator in this field Paul is in demand to teach colleague dentists in this emerging field of dentistry.
