Karan is a caring and a gentle dental surgeon. She has been running her private practices since 2008 and has developed special interests in cosmetic, prosthetic and restorative dentistry. After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (First Division) in 1995 from Amritsar, India, she began her career as a university lecturer teaching Community Dental Science whilst training undergraduate dentists and leading community dental clinics. After moving to the UK from India, Karan undertook the UK International Qualification Examinations (Statutory Examinations) and gained registration as a dental surgeon with the General Dental Council in 2007. She has focused her career in private dentistry, initially working for a corporate dental organisation where she gained invaluable experience in all aspects of general dentistry and in the management of dental clinics. She continues her professional development by attending courses and workshops, and through subscribed academic journals.
