Dr Tom Rands qualified from University London Hospital in London in 1986. He worked in the hospital and completed a year-long post graduate training before joining a general practice, specialising in the treatment of anxious patients. In 1997 he completed training and exams to gain membership of the Royal College of Surgeons. Following this he joined Boots to help set up and run dental practices throughout the country. Over the next years he became a Senior Clinical Dentist and had responsibility for auditing standards of work carried out within the company. Tom has been with Quaintways Cottage Dental Surgery for over 10 years and lives just outside Alton. He is married with 3 grown-up children.
