Miss Sarah Tukmachi graduated as a dental surgeon from the University of Bristol in 2010. She has undertaken several training posts in leading teaching hospitals across the country including oral and maxillofacial surgery, restorative dentistry and paediatric dentistry. Sarah completed her clinical specialty training in Paediatric Dentistry at the Royal London Dental Hospital with rotations at Great Ormond Street Hospital, gaining membership of the Royal College of Surgeons. Alongside her specialty training Sarah completed a clinical masters in Paediatric Dentistry at Queen Mary University London, developing her research interest in the facial growth of children with haemoglobinopathies. Sarah was appointed Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Bristol Dental Hospital in 2021. Sarah has a committed interest in the treatment of anxious and very young children. She aims to provide a holistic approach to every child’s dental treatment, and she accepts referrals for traumatic dental injuries, tooth-coloured and stainless steel crowns, behaviour management, immature root canal treatment, management of the developing dentition and dental anomalies, treatment of dental decay and dental extractions. Treatment can be delivered under inhalation sedation.
