Zainab qualified from University of Sheffield in 2002 with BDS degree. After several years of gaining experience in the maxillofacial field, as well as general dentistry, she embarked on specialty in periodontology. Zainab completed her specialty training in Periodontology (MClinDent Perio MRD RCS (Ed), from Kings College London. Since then, she has limited her practice to periodontics. She was one of the first specialists in the UK to be appointed as a Consultant in this field. Previously, Zainab was the Clinical Lead for the Department of Periodontology at Guy’s and St Thomas Foundation Trust, as well as on the Board of Examiners for the MFDS examination at the Royal College of Surgeons, in Edinburgh.
