Mehrdad qualified from King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1997 where he previously studied his first degree in Pharmacology. He had worked in research and hospital settings before joining Priory Dental as a Principal Dentist in 2001. He enjoys all areas of Dentistry and has undertaken many courses in the UK and abroad, ranging from Cosmetic Dentistry to the Certificate in Implant Dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, UCL. Mehrdad is passionate about delivering quality dental care to his patients. He likes thinking outside the box, often finding simple solutions to challenging cases. He believes in empowering his patients with the knowledge to give their informed consent for any treatment they choose to undergo. Outside of dentistry he likes spending time with his family and enjoys walking and trekking (In 2018 Mehrdad climbed Kilimanjaro in aid of oral cancer awareness) as well as flying and paragliding.
