Heidi is enthusiastic about providing exceptional dentistry tailored to her patient’s individual needs. Her ethos is to treat her patient’s whole mouth, not just a single tooth, providing comprehensive preventative dental care. Heidi qualified in 1992 from Edinburgh University Dental School. She completed her Vocational Training with an attachment to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. Heidi then practiced for 12 years in general practice in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. During this time, she also worked as a clinical assistant in Oral Surgery as well as taking a staff grade post in Orthodontics, both at The Stoke Mandeville Hospital. In 1997 Heidi was awarded the prestigious MFGDP qualification by the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners. In 2004 she moved back home to Northern Ireland where, along with Bruce, they started The Guild Practice. Heidi completed the Multi-System Dental Implantology Certificate Course at Trafford General Hospital with Cemal Ucer in 2001 and the Anthony Bendkowski course in Sinus Augmentation and Bone Grafting. She has also attended the advanced courses in implantology by Nigel Saynor and in full arch implant restoration by Andy Moore. In 2012 Heidi completed Paul Tipton’s Advanced Restorative Dentistry Course leading to a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry. In 2014 Heidi was awarded a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership from The Chartered Management Institute. In 2022 Heidi graduated with the European Association for Osseointegration Postgraduate Master Diploma in Implant Dentistry.
