John-Joe qualified as a dentist from Queen’s University Belfast in 2006 and has been caring for patients for nearly two decades. He is passionate about providing high-quality dentistry in a calm, friendly, and supportive environment. To continually improve the care he offers his patients, John-Joe has completed extensive postgraduate training. In 2012, he was awarded the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) by the Royal College of Surgeons, recognising his advanced clinical skills and professional standards. He also completed a four-year Master’s degree in Clinical Dentistry at King’s College London, where he gained advanced experience in treating complex and challenging dental cases. Alongside his work in practice, John-Joe is an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry and a Clinical Teaching Fellow at Queen’s University Belfast Dental School, where he helps train future dentists – a role that keeps him up to date with the latest techniques and best practices. More recently, he completed a Master’s degree in Implant Dentistry at the University of Lancashire, allowing him to offer implant-based solutions for missing or failing teeth as part of comprehensive treatment plans. John-Joe has a special interest in crowns, bridgework, veneers, dentures, cosmetic dentistry, tooth wear, and full-mouth rehabilitation, including treatments involving dental implants. He takes a gentle, patient-centred approach and believes in taking the time to explain options clearly, helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their care. Outside of dentistry, John-Joe enjoys spending time with his family. He values time outdoors. In quieter moments, he enjoys reading, playing the guitar and barbecues.
