Matthew graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2017 where he stayed for an extra year to complete his Foundational Dental Training. Following this he moved to Australia to gain experience working in a wide variety of private practices. This included private practices across Sydney, high need rural towns, and a holistic dental centre. While in Australia he also completed an undergraduate diploma in the IT field in order to keep up with developments in technology. This is an area of interest that he believes will transform how care is delivered in the future. After almost 5 years Matthew moved back to Northern Ireland and joined the practice in January 2024. He is also currently studying a postgraduate diploma in Oral Surgery with an aim of providing implants in the long term. One of the areas of dentistry he most enjoys is treating patients who are anxious at the dentist and helping them to overcome it with a calm, non-judgmental attitude, where everything will be explained in a non-technical way.
