Dr Tim Quarmby

I am delighted to have followed in my father’s footsteps in my role as a partner at the Orange Tree. I graduated with honours from the University of Leeds in 2004 and spent the first 5 years of my career working across North Yorkshire, including training dental graduates as they began their dental practice journey. In 2010 I returned to my roots to join the practice and have been here ever since! I am married to Rebecca, whom I met during my years at university. Together we have 2 children, both of whom keep me fit and in check. I am a past-President of the York BDA branch and in 2011 became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons by completing the Diploma in Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties. In 2021 I gained membership to the College of General Dentistry and have been Denplan Excel accredited since 2010. Away from the practice I enjoy hiking, watching films and spending time with my family. I’m a Denplan Advisor, a role which involves inspecting and guiding Denplan practices across the country. I’m Vice-President of Humber Hockey Development Group, a setup that allows U11-U18s to represent their county and play hockey at a higher level. I also assist in running club hockey at a junior level at Kingston upon Hull Hockey Club. I’ve also enjoyed coaching junior rugby at Driffield and now act as taxi to my children’s various sporting fixtures around Yorkshire!
