Lana graduated in Sydney in 1991 and began her career working across the Australian Outback, providing vital dental care to remote communities and Aboriginal settlements. Her early years included flying with the Royal Flying Doctor Service from Cairns to serve far-flung areas of Far North Queensland. After gaining experience in both Australia and the UK, Lana settled permanently in the UK in 2000. She went on to run her own private practice in Banbury for over a decade, later working with Portman Dental in Rugby. Alongside her clinical work, she completed a Master’s in General Dental Practice with distinction from the University of Birmingham, focusing on restorative, periodontal, endodontic, and aesthetic dentistry. Orthodontics has been a key part of Lana’s professional journey for over 15 years. She has trained in Fastbraces, Smilelign, Invisalign, and ClearCorrect, and is currently completing her Diploma in Primary Care Orthodontics (2022–2024, exams due 2026). This additional training allows her to provide evidence-based fixed orthodontics for children, teenagers, and adults, often combining her strong restorative background with orthodontic planning to achieve the best functional and aesthetic results. Outside dentistry, Lana is a proud supporter of women’s football, regularly cheering on her teenage daughter, Brackley Town FC, and Arsenal Women. She also enjoys travelling, gardening (with more enthusiasm than success!), playing netball, and has recently discovered a love for line dancing.
