Nassar has been undertaking clinically demanding and complex root canal treatments (endodontics) for many years treating patients who have been referred to him by their own general dental practitioner. Although he still practices general dentistry, an ever-increasing amount of his clinical time is being spent offering his expertise to patients who have the desire to conserve their own dentition rather than have a tooth extracted. Having originally qualified as a pharmacist with a first-class honours degree from Aston university in Birmingham he was accepted on the graduate entry programme at Barts and The London, Queen Mary’s school of Medicine and Dentistry. As a dental undergraduate at Barts, he developed a particular interest in endodontics, and he was awarded the prestigious Pitt-Ford prize in endodontology. This prize is awarded to the most outstanding student in the field of endodontics nationwide and he was subsequently invited to submit his case study to the British Endodontic Society scientific conference. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with Honours in 2012 and he later successfully completed his post graduate examinations to become a member of The Royal College of Surgeons England and The Faculty of Dental Surgery, Glasgow Nassar continued to pursue his interest in endodontics; went on to complete his Master of Science (MSc) degree in endodontics and he remains an active member of The British Endodontic Society. If your own dentist has recommended that you seek endodontic treatment from Nassar be rest assured that you have been placed in very capable hands.
