Akeel gained his BDS from The University of Jordan in 2002 and has Membership of Faculty of Dentistry, The Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland MFDRCSI in 2004 and Fellowship in Oral Surgery and Medicine as well as Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland FFDRCSI (OSOM) 2007. Jordanian Board Certificate in oral and Maxillofacial surgery 2014. and more recently passed the exam of the diploma in implant dentistry (Dip Imp Dent) from the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 2016. Akeel has worked in several units across the UK in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Currently works as a speciality Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at The Princess Alexandra Hospital and runs there oral surgical lists both under local and general anaesthesia, he is also in charge of training trainee dentists at the same hospital.
