Dr Leonidas Podaropoulos qualified as a dental surgeon at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (BDS). Thereafter he completed a Master’s degree in Oral Surgery at the University of Sheffield (MMedSci), a second Master’s degree in Oral Pathobiology (MSc) and a Doctorate degree (PhD) in Surgical Implantology at the University of Athens and awarded the Specialty in Oral Surgery. His clinical practice focuses on oral and implant surgery cases, guided bone regeneration procedures in poor bone volume and quality condition, bone grafts and growth factors. Alongside his clinical work, he has been part of the teaching faculty of the Dental School of the University of Athens since 2001. Leonidas is a co-author of several PubMed-indexed scientific papers and continues to lecture internationally on topics of his interests.
