Dr Tara Gouk

Tara is a Dentist and Specialty Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at East Kent Hospitals. She graduated from the University of Bristol and has completed both MFDS (RCS Eng) and core surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in the care of anxious patients, oral surgery—including wisdom tooth removal—and TMJ disorders. Tara also offers facial aesthetic treatments, drawing on her detailed knowledge of facial anatomy to deliver safe, subtle, and natural-looking results. Originally from Northern Ireland, Tara is known for her calm, friendly approach and focus on patient comfort. When she’s not at work, you’ll most likely find her in the pool, on a training run, or signing up for her next big challenge—all preferably followed by good food and better coffee alongside her dog Maggie.
