Dr Michael Goodman

Michael qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2013 and quickly understood how important periodontal health was for his patients. In 2017 he completed the Periodontics Course at the Royal College of Surgeons, London. In the same year he joined the British Society of Periodontology. Michael obtained a solid foundation for his career and worked in the NHS for 8 years before moving fully to private practice. In that time, he was an Educational Supervisor to 4 newly-qualified dentists in the Sheffield region. Michael wishes to constantly widen his understanding of gum disease and completed his MSc in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL in 2023. Michael offers a wide range of periodontal treatments including surgery and is happy to accept referrals from dentists, therapists, and hygienists. He also has a keen interest in supporting dentists who place implants to improve and maintain patients’ peri-implant health. Michael is a big believer that healthy gums leads to a healthy body (and vice-versa). He strives to treat all his patients with a holistic approach. He regularly works alongside other health care professionals to achieve the best results possible for his patients. He sees himself as a great communicator and strives to motivate his patients to the highest level.
