After qualifying from Bristol University Dental School in 1985, Laurie gained surgical experience while working for four years as a Senior House Officer in Maxillofacial Surgery units of general hospitals. She moved into general dental practice in 1990 and joined Donovan’s in 2002. Laurie completed a foundation course at the Royal Homeopathic Hospital in London in 1997, and regularly attends dental courses. Laurie believes prevention is the key to success in dentistry. She is married with two children and enjoys sailing and walking.
