Mrs Ridley/ Marjie spent her formative years in Scotland, and relocated to West Sussex in the 1970’s to start her professional career, having qualified from Dundee Dental School. Her first post in general practice was at The White House, Bognor Regis, and in 1980, joined her husband in his expanding village practice. When their practice was sold in 1999, she took a part-time position in Chichester, allowing her the opportunity to complete a Foundation Degree at Portsmouth University, while also joining the Emergency Dental Service Team at St Richard’s Hospital. After major Corporate changes at the Chichester practice in 2009, she left. Working part-time in Hampshire, and a short term contract at West Meads to cover a maternity break, left her little time to pursue other interests. When offered a permanent part-time post at West Meads she resigned from Hampshire and embraced semi-retirement. With many years of experience she enjoys the challenges of general practice and continuity of care for her patients.
