Dr Sophie Reid

Sophie grew up between Bristol and Salcombe. She studied Biological Sciences at Exeter University before relocating to Glasgow to take a masters in Biomedical Sciences for which she achieved a first with distinction. Following this she decided to study dentistry and graduated in 2007. After qualification she worked for the NHS in the Community Dental Service working with special care adults and children. She then worked in mixed practice for 6 years before moving to Private Dental Care in Edinburgh. During this time she has taken a number of further education courses in dentistry including a year long implant course and a year long certificate course on restorative dentistry. She recently relocated to Hampshire with her daughter and husband. Her approachable and friendly manner helps to put patients at ease. Working in a variety of dental settings has given her a wide range of experience to enable her to provide the best patient care. Her focus is on family based dentistry and preventative care.
