Dr Sam Elassar is a full-time implant dentist who qualified from the University of Dundee in 1997. He started his implant journey in 2007 and has since placed over 3000 implants using various implant systems. Dr Elassar gained the prestigious diploma in dental implants from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons London in 2012, and he has also passed memberships for both royal colleges in London and Glasgow. He is an ex-ADI Regional representative for Scotland – which aims to provide the public with an improved understanding of the benefits of implantology. Dr Elassar has lectured in various locations around the globe, expanding his knowledge and expertise to those interested in implant dentistry. His area of expertise is using digital technology in implant dentistry to provide more precision and accuracy and improve the overall patient experience. The use of digital technology in implants is a topic he feels passionate about, and he runs a regular course for other dentists on the subject.
