Shankar graduated from Guys, Kings and St Thomas Dental School (London) in 2015. Since joining our team in 2016, Shankar has built a strong and comfortable rapport with patients. He is a keen believer in patient education, spending time explaining the treatment to his patients and what has caused the issues. Shankar enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but in particular restorative dentistry, root canal treatment and oral surgery. He enjoys Smile designs and seeing how the transformation impacts the patient’s self-confidence! Shankar has a very relaxed approach and calming nature, which bodes well with anxious patients. He keeps abreast with his dental skills by attending CPD events and dental courses. He is a qualified Invisalign provider (Clear braces), and has completed courses in SmileFast which is a new development for composite veneers and composite bonding. Outside of dentistry his interests include swimming, keeping active at the gym, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
