Dr Sabastian Swanepoel

Sabastian has special interests in Cosmetic Restorative Dentistry and Adult Orthodontics. He qualified in his homeland of South Africa in 1996 where he subsequently practised general dentistry for a further five years. In 2001 (to satisfy his desire to travel), Sabastian migrated to the United Kingdom, settling and practising in the Hastings area before transferring to Seaside Dental Practice in 2004. The 10 years spent as a clinical member of the Seaside Team have been very productive ones for Sabastian. He has invested considerable time in attending postgraduate courses to advance and enhance his already considerable skills in advanced cosmetic restorative dentistry. In conjunction with this, Sabastian has developed techniques allowing him to combine the use of adult orthodontics alongside traditional restorative procedures. Sabastian is now a member of the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry, and a certified user of the Six Month Smile clear braces system and Inman Aligner. In 2012 Sabastian was the winner of a National Competition (Dentsply Ceram) for his skills in using cosmetic restorative materials and techniques. Sabastian embraces every opportunity to acquire new skills relating to his special interests and loves working with new technological advances, new materials and techniques!
