Dr Kim Kerr

Kim graduated from Newcastle University in 2005 and completed her vocational training near Falkirk before relocating to Berwick. She spent nine years with NHS Borders, gaining extensive experience across a wide range of patients and developing a strong interest in supporting those with dental anxiety. Kim is currently expanding her expertise through further study in hypnosis with Birmingham University. Known for her calm, reassuring manner and excellent communication skills, Kim is highly regarded for her work with anxious patients. She moved into general practice in 2015 and joined our team in 2022. Kim offers a broad range of treatments, including airflow polishing, teeth whitening, and crown and bridge work. She is also able to provide treatment under hypnosis, using this skill to help patients manage stress and anxiety. Outside the practice, Kim volunteers with the Air Cadets and enjoys travelling with her husband and two children.
