John Cato is the principal dentist and owner of Next Wave Dental. Originally from Liverpool, he moved to North Devon in 2017 with his wife Sophie and their two children. He founded Next Wave Dental to bring a fresh approach to dentistry in the region, with a focus on cutting-edge technology and patient-centered care. John holds a BSc in Biology from the University of Leeds (2004) and graduated from Liverpool Dental School in 2012. He has a background in oral surgery and was accepted into the Royal College of Surgeons in 2013. In 2017, he completed a Master’s in Dental Implantology. John specialises in dental implants and aesthetic tooth replacement. He regularly attends CPD courses on advanced techniques, including implant restorations and bone grafting. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities and socialising with friends.
