I graduated from Glasgow University with a BDS Degree in 2000 and have over 20 years experience in General Practice in both England and Scotland. My approach is relaxed, informative and professional. I strive to offer predictable, aesthetic dentistry that looks good and lasts well for her patients. I believe in educating and supporting my patients to make choices that benefit their mouths and also their overall wellbeing. I hold full membership with the British Society of Occlusal Studies, a select group with a special interest in headaches, neck and shoulder pain and other common problems that can occur for patients through poor jaw relationships and poor function. In many instances patients may not be aware of the damage that is being done to their teeth or dental work from having a poor bite. I also facilitate training courses to help educate fellow professionals in this area. I'm keen on postgraduate education and have a strong commitment to lifelong learning. This commitment is to my own learning and progression as a dental professional, and also allows me to offer the best evidence-based techniques and solutions to dental problems. I gained the postgraduate MFGDP qualification in 2002 from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Outside dentistry, I enjoy travelling and exploring the outdoors. I'm a keen walker and enjoys the peaks of mountains as well as a walk around the local park. I also have an interest in yoga and teach yoga classes and workshops in Glasgow.
