Charlie Evans is a member of the Clinical Team, supporting colleagues across the group. Having qualified from Dundee in 1998, he completed the pilot GPT scheme for newly qualified dentists, working in general practice, hospital (EDEC) and community over two years. In the early 2000s, Charlie spent time in private practices, including an implant centre where he started his implant restorative journey, and working for a large group of practices where he gained an insight into their management. He then moved to the Scottish Borders, where he purchased a mixed practice. During his 17 years of practice ownership, he was a VT trainer for 12 years and has also worked in a specialist referral practice for the past 5 years. Therefore, Charlie has a wide range of experience in all aspects of dentistry. He also has an interest in how dental health and prevention can improve performance in sport.
