Dr Duncan Weir

Duncan graduated from Glasgow Dental School where he obtained the Board of Management prize for his work in relation to periodontal (gum) treatment. At the earliest opportunity, he completed his membership exams at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. He has a Diploma in dental implants from the University of Newcastle where he was placed top of his year achieving Honours. He has a keen interest in both the placement and restoration of dental implants and is also experienced in dealing with anxious patients and offers “sleep” sedation dentistry. Duncan’s calming, friendly and cheerful nature helps put patients at ease. He strives to make sure every patient has a tailored treatment plan that meets his or her every need.
