Jennifer grew up locally before moving to Leeds and then London to study and work, beginning her career as a Radiographer at Charing Cross Hospital. A career change was prompted by wanting a more sustained and active involvement with her patients. Kings College London prides itself on being at the forefront of dental research and minimally invasive techniques and is an “amalgam-free” institute as far as possible. Therefore she did a lot of training in composite (white) fillings. After qualifying as a Dentist she returned home and has worked both in General Dentistry and in Maxillofacial Surgery. She also held a post at Kings College London (Guys Dental Institute) as a Clinical Teacher in Dental Radiography to Undergraduate Students. Jennifer’s interests in Dentistry are focused on prevention techniques and patient education, but when dental treatment can’t be prevented, she tries to provide minimally invasive dentistry. A self-confessed nervous patient herself, she tries to provide treatment that patients walk away from thinking “That was so much less stressful than I was expecting!” She has recently completed a PGCert in Implantology and is now building a mentored case log in preparation for the Royal College of Surgeons exams. At home, it’s all about family life , dog and gardening, never a dull moment “I love working with the Harlestone family and seeing all of my patients time after time, working towards their dental goals.”
Full clinical exam, CBCT scan (if needed), discussion of options, and a personalised treatment plan with transparent pricing.
