Kiren graduated with Honours from King’s College London in 2014 and obtained her diploma of membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS Ed.) in 2016. Kiren successfully completed her 4-year specialist training programme in Endodontology qualifying with Distinction, at King’s College London Dental Institute. She has since returned as a part-time specialist clinical teacher at Guy’s Hospital, supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate endodontic students. She has also been awarded the prestigious Membership in Endodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. She has a broad range of skills, having worked in general practice for many years and through her previous positions in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Northampton General Hospital and in the Restorative Dentistry department at Bristol Dental Hospital, providing a range of complex treatments for patients referred for endodontic and restorative care. Kiren is passionate about providing high quality endodontic care/ root canal treatments to relieve her patients of pain and allow them to keep their teeth for longer. She enjoys keeping up to date with the latest advances in the field of endodontics. Her friendly and compassionate nature coupled with her experience and motivation to provide high standards of care enable her patients to feel at ease. Kiren sees patients referred for endodontic treatment including: Endodontic examination and diagnosis Restorability assessment Non-surgical root canal treatment (RCT) and re-treatment (Re-RCT) Management of complex root canal anatomy, resorption, obstructed/calcified canals, cracked teeth and dental trauma Surgical endodontic treatment Apexification Vital pulp therapy Outside of saving teeth, Kiren enjoys keeping fit, experimenting in the kitchen and spending time with friends and family. She is also a novice astronomer! When not looking into root canals, she loves to swap her endodontic microscope for a telescope or pair of binoculars and star gaze when the skies allow!
