Professor Nikos Donos (DDS, MS, FHEA, FDSRCSEngl, PhD) is the Director of Research, Professor & Chair of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, at the Centre for Oral Clinical Research (COCR), Institute of Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). In 2024, Prof. Donos was awarded the prestigious International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Distinguished Scientist in Periodontal Disease Award and the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) Distinguished Scientist Award. Prof. Donos has published more than 275 peer reviewed publications, is the editor of 5 textbooks and author/co-author of 15 book chapters in the field of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.
