Dr Vasaikar, or Om, joined the team here in 2021. Completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery, (with Honours), attending the University of Plymouth, proudly achieving the Deans Award. Growing up in his early years in India and then England has introduced Om to the very many various cultures and given him lots of experience, making him a multifaceted individual. He has a very welcoming, calm approachable friendly nature and will certainly put his patients at ease. We are delighted to congratulate Om who has just successfully achieved his Certificate PGDip (Perio) Special Interest in Periodontics in October 2023. Growing another branch to the services he brings to the practice here at Westwood Dental. Om has set himself very high standards, especially when caring for patients and strives for clinical excellence, this he achieves through constant development of his skills, providing the best, most suitable treatments that he can around what is available. Outside of his dentistry, Om is a keen cricketer, so much so, that he is proudly part of the Bank of England’s cricket team. He loves tennis and naturally enjoys watching it, as well as playing it, he is also a BIG Formula 1 enthusiast along with his other colleagues here.
