Dr Payal Bhalla

Meet our principal Dentist, Dr Payal Bhalla, who took over Ipswich Dental Surgery in 2017. All the improvements at the practice were driven by a singular vision of unparalleled patient care and offering the highest quality dentistry. She set the team a goal of becoming the most admired dental practice in Ipswich. Since graduating in 2004, Payal has worked across London, Essex and Suffolk. She started her career by practising in NHS practices and transitioned into private practice by continually investing in her qualifications and skill set. In 2017, she took over Ipswich Dental Surgery, where she has been providing mentorship and leadership while delivering exceptional dental care in Ipswich & Suffolk. In 2018, Payal became an Invisalign-certified provider, and within 3 years, she attained the Invisalign® elite Apex certified status; her dedication to providing quality teeth straightening treatments has resulted in Invisalign recognising her as an elite status provider every year since 2019. In 2020, Payal completed her Diploma in Implantology. Following this, she is undertaking a postgraduate MSc. Course in Implantology from the University of Central Lancashire. Through her extensive experience and training, she can provide a full range of complex treatments, ranging from a single implant to full arch implants. In 2022, encouraged by her drive to create a practice where she could achieve clinical excellence, Payal launched our sister practice, Quest Dental Care, on Great Colman Street, Ipswich. This practice was conceptualised to be able to deliver the flexibility and focus needed to meet each patient’s individual needs. Payal has a calm demeanour, and a patient-centric approach naturally makes patients feel at ease. Payal has learned through her years of practice that listening is the precursor to a successful diagnosis and treatment. This allows Payal to explore all options with her patients, who can make informed decisions.
