Ms Sarah Adam, who has worked as a locum Consultant Oral Surgeon at Colchester Hospital and now works as an associate specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery, has now joined this Practice. She has extensive experience of more than 20 years in oral surgery. Sarah has a Masters (MSc) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Manchester Dental School and she is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry. Sarah has completed several clinical courses in implant placements, including courses for complex and difficult cases. She has completed a one year course in cosmetic aesthetic and restorative dentistry, at the Advance Dental Seminars Centre, run by Christopher Orr. She is available to offer sedation for patients who are of a very nervous disposition (oral or intravenous) and she will also undertake complex procedures. Sarah is happy to see patients regarding: minor oral surgery, implant placements including complex cases with or without a bone graft, surgical procedures relating to orthodontic treatments including surgical removal and/or exposure of teeth, periodontal surgery, facial aesthetics and contouring using Dermal fillers and chemical peels.
