Mr Katie Henry

Katie is an Associate Dental Surgeon at Hest Bank Dental Care and provides routine dental care to all ages. After graduating from Newcastle University in 2006 with a merit in clinical dentistry, Katie went on to complete general professional training (GPT) at Newcastle-Upon-Tyne Dental Hospital. Spending a year as a senior house officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery, along with beginning work as an associate dental surgeon in 2009, preceded her move back to the North West, as she was born and raised in Chester. Katie enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry. She as completed a training certificate in aesthetic restorative dentistry. She provides orthodontic Invisalign treatments and is a certified Smilefast centre of excellence member, delivering minimally invasive composite bonding solutions to improve your smile. She is a recognised Tier 2 oral surgeon, accepting referrals from local dentists. Coupled with her interest in aesthetic dentistry, Katie also provides treatments in facial aesthetics allowing her to have a holistic approach to treatment planning. Having trained at the Dr Bob Khanna training institute, she has provided anti wrinkle treatments for over ten years. She has continued her training with Acquisition Aesthetics and provides dermal fillers and skin boosting facial rejuvenation. She is trained in medical grade skincare with ZO Skin Health and Skin Better and is able to provide skincare regimes. She is currently competing a level 7 diploma in facial aesthetics. Katie prides herself in treating the more anxious patients and understands the importance of the patient journey, providing a relaxed environment for treatment. She enjoys 'getting to know' her patients and their families, claiming "there's never a quiet moment in my surgery!". Katie lives with her husband and two children Oliver and Harriet. A fan of skiing and eating out, Katie really values her time spent with family and friends.
