Asfa graduated from the University of Manchester in 2014 and has since gained experience in all aspects of dentistry. Most recently, she completed two years as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in various hospitals across Sheffield and Liverpool and currently works as an associate dentist. Asfa has a passion for continued clinical excellence in order to deliver the best care to her patients. She is approachable and highly empathetic and educates her patients before starting dental treatment in Leeds. Over the years, she has completed international presentations, teaching and post-graduate courses. This has been recognised through various post-graduate diplomas, such as the MFDS Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow, and most recently, she was awarded a PGcert in Teaching and Learning in clinical practice. In her posts working in a specialist environment, Asfa has enjoyed caring for anxious patients with complex medical needs and undertaking oral surgery. She is particularly passionate about transforming smiles and giving her patients the confidence they deserve. She has completed a year course in Minimally Invasive Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry to further her knowledge and learn the latest dental techniques, including Invisalign. In her spare time, Asfa enjoys travelling around the world and cooking and spending time with family and friends.
