Ed qualified from Newcastle University. Originally from The Wirral, he worked in Newcastle for a while before returning to the area. Before Springfield, Ed worked for several years in Moreton alongside his father, Dr Paul Sherrard. Ed is passionate about dentistry and loves working with people to transform their smiles and bring confidence to them. He aims to provide the highest quality of care to his patients in a comfortable and relaxed environment. His special interests are cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. Ed has undertaken extensive extra training in both cosmetic and implant dentistry. In his free time, Ed enjoys being in the great outdoors and spending time with friends and family. He has also taken part in three medical charity trips to Uganda to provide greatly-needed dental care to remote rural communities.
