Dr Andrew Powell

Andrew qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2004, graduating with a clinical distinction. He has achieved several awards, including the BDA prize in restorative dentistry, orthodontics, paediatric dentistry and the ‘Conservation’ prize. After completing a vocational training year, he worked at private practices in Warwick and Cheltenham. His focus is to continue to develop skills in restorative, aesthetic and adhesive dentistry. He especially enjoys endodontic treatment. Andrew has keenly attended courses and lectures in these fields, most recently completing a six-month hands-on Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry course with Dr Mizrahi, a well-respected Harley Street specialist. Andrew places a high emphasis on educating his patients about their dental problems and involving them as much as possible in the decision process, to help them make informed choices regarding their treatment. Aside from work he is a keen sportsman, regularly playing football and racquet sports. He enjoys cooking, photography, Muay Thai boxing and snowboarding. Andrew is married with two young daughters.
