Mr Caroline Jackson

I’m Caroline and I am Lead Dentist and Clinical Director of Hartlepool Dental and Implant Centre. After graduating from The University of Manchester in 2008 I moved back to my home town of Guisborough and I have been working in the North East ever since. I like meeting new people so Dentistry is perfect for me. I have over 10 years of experience in both NHS and Private Dentistry. I love all aspects of my job but I particularly enjoy treating children and carrying out cosmetic tooth straightening with braces. I dreamed of being a Dentist since I was 5 years old; I am extremely lucky to have a job that brings me so much joy and I wanted to give something back so I have done a teaching qualification which allows me to train and mentor newly qualified Dentists. I am passionate about supporting young Dentists transition from Dental School to life in a busy Practice and I hope that by mentoring them early in their careers we can increase the number of Dentists working here in the North East and improve access to NHS Dentistry. I am also a Borough Councillor for my home town of Guisborough which is sometimes challenging but always very rewarding and takes up quite a lot of time. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, travelling, eating out in unusual restautants (I’m a foodie) and spending time with my friends and family. I would like to start playing golf again but at the moment I just don’t have the time. I absolutely love my job and I hope that my patients can see my enthusiasm and happiness in the care that I give them.
