Dr Botha qualified from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 1982. He has been placing implants since the 1990s and is very experienced in implant surgery. Dr Botha is proud to have been part of the very first cohort to obtain the Advanced Diploma in Dental Implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Dr Botha is qualified in intravenous sedation for the treatment of anxious patients. His scope of practice is limited to surgical dentistry and dental implants, which routinely involves advanced implant augmentation procedures, such as bone grafting and sinus lifts. His expertise in this field means he regularly takes on advanced and complex cases by referral from other dentists.
