Mr Peter Allen

Since qualifying from the Royal Dental Hospital in 1984 Peter has gained a wealth of experience into the many specialities of dentistry. In 2005 he completed a year long dental Implant course at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London. Through this he is able to provide the latest aesthetic restorations to the highest standard. Peter is always happy to chat with patients about the process and always ensures that they are comfortable with their individual care plan. Peter strongly believes in a patient’s continuity of care and to that end he has been caring for patients at Precinct Dental for over 25 years. Through his calm and caring manner Peter has built a notable reputation within the local community and beyond. Peter is a member of the British Dental Association and Oxidant (a postgraduate study group). He maintains up to date knowledge by attending many postgraduate courses and completing continuing professional development. Other than his enthusiasm and passion for dentistry, he is keen on open water swimming and recently completed the Scilly swim challenge, swimming 15 kms around 5 Islands. Peter belongs to the Abingdon Hockey club, sometimes playing in a mixed team with his son and daughter.
