I qualified from Sheffield University in 1996 and then worked in several general practices in Sheffield, Tamworth and Southwest London gaining extensive experience before buying a partnership in an independent mixed practice in Witney, Oxfordshire in April 2007. In 2001 I undertook a part time PG Certificate course in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute where I learnt to critically evaluate my dentistry in the various disciplines of restorative dentistry, and it was during this period that I developed an interest in endodontics. Since then, I have completed an MSc in Endodontics at Barts and Royal London / QMUL. Currently I am a council member for the British Endodontic Society (BES). In my spare time I enter various mountain and road biking events and before that I spent the best part of 20 years rowing competitively. I am shortly to start the British rowing coaching qualification courses to help support the next generation of rowers.
