Mr Chad Furhuraire

Chad graduated from Peninsula Dental School with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery. Since qualifying, he has worked in both NHS and private practices and is the long-standing resident dentist based here at Plymouth dental centre of Excellence. He has built a reputation for his calming approach and clinical precision. He is currently completing an MSc in Periodontology, further enhancing his skills in managing complex gum disease cases and providing comprehensive periodontal care. Chad is the primary IV sedation provider within the practice and is highly experienced in treating nervous, anxious, and phobic patients. He is known for his empathetic and calming presence, which helps even the most apprehensive patients feel at ease. His extensive experience with sedation has enabled many patients who may have otherwise avoided dental care to confidently receive the treatment they need. He is deeply committed to ensuring that every patient feels relaxed and safe throughout their dental journey, often receiving referrals for patients requiring a gentler, more personalised approach. Alongside his sedation work, Chad delivers a wide range of dental treatments, with special interests in periodontics, cosmetic, and minimally invasive dentistry, including composite bonding and veneers. He also enjoys creating beautiful, confident smiles. Outside of dentistry, Chad enjoys travelling, gym, playing basketball, skiing, and is always looking to discover new and exciting hobbies.
