Ram qualified as a dentist in November 1994 from one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions, Annamalai University (Rajah Muthiah Dental College & Hospital) in Southern India. Following his graduation, Ram pursued further higher training in oral surgery under internationally renowned dentists and award-winning oral surgeons in Chennai, India, before coming to the UK in 1996. Ram has worked in a variety of hospitals across the UK, expanding his knowledge of oral surgery. He also has extensive knowledge in treating highly nervous, anxious and needle-phobic patients. His clinical skills are exemplary: he has been treating a wide variety of oral surgery cases, including complex and difficult surgical extractions as well as surgical retrieval of complex retained roots, apicectomies, smoothening/recontouring alveolar ridge surgeries and a wide spectrum of intraoral suturing surgical techniques. Ram is a highly professional communicator with great listening skills and takes his ethical responsibility extremely seriously. He continues to apply his methodical approach and dedication to further education – he is currently attending higher studies and clinical training at Birmingham University.
