Dr Ruth Black qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2011. Ruth is originally from Leicestershire but came to work in North Yorkshire after graduation and also owned her own dental practice near Lincoln until 2018. Ruth enjoys all aspects of general dental practice and has a particular interest in restorative dentistry. Ruth owns and manages Malpas House Dental Practice alongside her husband Dr Luke Charnley who is also a dentist at Malpas House. Ruth founded and directs Malpas House School of Dental Nursing which aims to bring new individuals into the profession by delivering the NEBDN Dental Nursing Diploma.
