Dr Filipe graduated in Lisbon in 2004. Quickly his desire for exploration of other professional and personal surroundings brought him to the UK, where he has been living and practicing for over a decade. Filipe enjoys helping patients improving their smile and self-confidence through restorative and aesthetic dentistry. He believes it’s important to look at each patient as an individual and to find the course of treatment that best suits them. In each case, his approach is to completely involve his patients in the decision-making process at every stage of their treatment. Filipe’s most valuable clinical and diagnostic tool is the act of listening to patients and, with his reassuring and gentle approach, he has helped many patients overcome the longstanding fear of the dentist. A firm believer in the importance of constant improvement and training, he has recently completed a two year postgraduate course in restorative dentistry where he was awarded “Best Dentist of the Year” award. He is now a member of the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry and the British Dental Association.
