Dr Gao Teh is a dedicated periodontist with a strong passion for managing and treating gum-related conditions. After earning his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from King’s College London, Dr Teh completed both parts of the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) exams, establishing a solid foundation in general dentistry. He went on to undertake specialist training at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, where he graduated with Distinction in Periodontology and was awarded the Dean’s Research Prize for his postgraduate research. His advanced training equipped him with extensive expertise in the management of gum disease, gingival recession, and peri-implantitis. Dr Teh is skilled in both surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapies and is committed to providing personalised care that prioritises long-term oral health. Further recognising his specialist capabilities, he was awarded Membership in Periodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons (England). Dr Teh works closely with referring dentists and enjoys being part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the highest standard of periodontal care. Outside of dentistry, Gao enjoys music and sport—he’s a self-proclaimed “professional bathroom singer” and an enthusiastic tennis player, embracing these hobbies as ways to unwind and maintain balance.
