Than has worked at a private dental practice in Wimborne for the past 20 years before joining Avenue House in December 2014. Than qualified in 1985 at the Institute of Dental Medicine, Rangoon, Burma. He obtained an M.Sc. in Endodontic (root filling) from Eastman Dental Hospital, University of London in 1993.
