Dr. Dareen Sherief graduated with Honours from the University of Liverpool in 2020 and joined Village Dental Practice later that year. Following this, she undertook a surgical post in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, spending a year managing complex oral surgical cases, including surgical extractions, biopsies, and the treatment of maxillofacial trauma and disease. During this time, Dareen successfully obtained the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She has also presented her work internationally at the European Association of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery. Since completing her surgical training post, Dareen has returned to Village Dental Practice, where she provides the full scope of general dentistry. She is a SAAD Assessed Sedationist in IV sedation, enabling her to deliver safe and effective conscious sedation for anxious patients, ensuring their comfort throughout treatment. Dareen believes in a gentle, patient-centred approach to dentistry, always placing the wellbeing and experience of her patients at the heart of her care.
