Claire graduated from Dundee University in 1998. Since then, she has worked in practices in Edinburgh and West Lothian. She became one of the principal dentists at Long and Gilmour in August 2019. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly restorative procedures. Claire has a post graduate qualification in Medical Education, which is her special interest. This has proven invaluable to her role as a Vocational Dental Adviser mentoring and supporting newly qualified graduates in the East of Scotland. She is a member of the College of General Dentistry, and she also sits on both the Local and Area Dental committees within Forth Valley Health board. In her spare time she likes to read, run and cook, and look after her three young boys.
